A Senior Manager IT for a Large Private Sector Bank - Chennai


The Corporation

Leading Private Sector Bank with advanced and State of Art IT environment through which they support their vast retail and corporate client base.


The Role

Responsible for providing system and analytical solutions to the Credit Card business including project management on key initiatives and help support creating, nurturing and evolving a world-class technology environment that enables global standards in customer service. Amongst many responsibilities some key challenges include:


Project Management and System solutions, Quality Interventions, Process Benchmarking, Process co-ordination and effectiveness mapping, Analytical support/Management Information System, Customer connectivity, Internet Capabilities, E Commerce Appreciation


The Candidate Profile


Education/Experience 

Masters Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/Post Graduation with approximately 7/8 years experience in financial services sector in operations, technology, service and quality. 


Specific Knowledge and Business Capabilities

  • Credit cards in particular VISA / MasterCard regulations 

  • IT platform for credit cards and banking such as Vision PLUS/ 

  • Knowledge about Software Development life Cycle / Database management 

  • Quality Initiatives / process management 


Key Competencies

  • Good analytical skills, organizational skills, strong leadership skills 

  • High degree of skills of oral and written communication 

  • Ability to apply creativity and imagination to the development of operational processes/system solutions and business strategies along with good project management skill.
